Special Projects

The Maddie Project

The Maddie Project is a community effort in support of youth struggling with depression and other mental health related concerns. We’re honoured to partner with The Maddie Project to achieve our shared goals of reducing the stigma associated with youth mental health and transforming access to services in our community. And we applaud and support their efforts to raise $200,000 toward extending the hours of our Walk-in Clinics.

During Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Soul Restaurants ran a fundraising campaign in 180 locations of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell – across Ontario with a goal to raise $10,000 for Skylark’s work with children, youth and families.

Thanks to their generous customers showing a whole lot of heart and soul, with the campaign raising in excess of $80,000 toward counselling to help young people and families overcome the devastating effects of emotional, social and psychological difficulties.

Together KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell form the Soul Restaurant brand. Soul Restaurants Canada Inc. is based in Toronto and is one of Canada’s largest restaurant companies in terms of system restaurants with locations across Ontario, British Columbia and Gatineau QC.
