Skylark Walk-In Clinics

Learn more about Skylark’s Walk-In Clinics. With large wait lists, walk-in clinics meet a real and urgent need. At Skylark, we provide free mental health services for children, youth and their families – no health card required and no appointment necessary.

Tuning In for Parents

Learn more about Tuning In for Parents, a workshop designed to teach parents new and better ways to communicate with youth about drugs. We provide a lot of practice and supportive feedback from expert facilitators and a chance for families to share experiences and learn from each other.

MLSE LaunchPad

Learn more about Skylark’s partnership with MLSE LaunchPad to offer barrier-free access to mental health services to underserved communities, where social justice issues (such as poverty and racism) heavily impact the mental health and wellbeing of young people and their families.

Skylark’s Residential Program

Learn more about Skylark’s Residential Program. Skylark is able to provide two residential homes – Hillsdale Residence and Richard Kalesky (RK) House – for youth who need a place to live for a variety of reasons.

The Tweeny STARS Program

Learn more about Skylark’s The Tweeny STARS (STrong And ReSilient) program, which is a drop in for LGBTQ+ youth between ages 12 to 16. This program offers a safe space for tweens to learn more about themselves, connect with each other and grow.

LGBTQ+ Youth Outreach Worker

Learn more about Debby Nunes, our LGBTQ+ Youth Outreach Worker. Skylark is fortunate to have Debby on-staff, a Provincial LGBTQ+ Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) to provide supportive counselling for LGBTQ+ youth ages 12 to 24 and their families.
