Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Trans, Intersex, Pansexual, Queer, Asexual, Questioning and anyone who identifies along the sexual diversity and/or gender diversity spectrum regardless of what label you choose for yourself.

The Studio

The Studio is an LGBTQ+ positive drop-in created by and for young people ages 12 to 21. Youth can come hang out, play video games, watch movies and socialize, record music and make beats in the music program, or check out (and even run) some workshops and youth-led groups. At The Studio, youth and staff work together to create fun and interesting activities and workshops –  art making, dance, gender expression/drag performance, sexual health workshops, discussion groups, field trips, and more. The Studio staff can also provide one-on-one support in housing, physical & mental health, education, employment, and legal matters. If nothing on that list stands out to you, let us know. This is your space and we’re always open to suggestions!

The Studio celebrates the diverse experiences of youth and strives to create a community where all youth can get engaged in building allyship. Youth who come to The Studio have real decision-making power and are invited to help create the space, and build community in partnership with Studio staff.

The Tweeny STARS

The Tweeny STARS (STrong And ReSilient) is a drop in for LGBTQ+ youth between ages 12 to 16. This program offers a safe space for tweens to learn more about themselves, connect with each other and grow.

Since starting in 2017, the group averages approximately 30 youth per day. Tweeny STARS youth are able to engage in all the regular activities of The Studio, in addition to exclusive workshops and field trips. Staff are able to support the youth with LGBTQ+ specific referrals, such as gender affirming, medical & social transitioning, mental & physical health services, educational resources, parent & guardian support, etc.
